About Us
Nowa Imasekha is a global private equity and investment banking professional with extensive deal experience across multiple sectors and geographies. Nowa offers private equity and investment banking training to professionals in private equity, investment banking, as welll as corporates, individuals and students.
Nowa currently serves as the Vice President of a global US boutique Investment Bank DMBL, prior to which he was an Investment Professional at AfricInvest. AfricInvest is a leading private equity firm founded in 1994 that provides growth capital to impactful businesses. With c.$2.0bn in funds under management and over 200 investments and 100 exits, AfricInvest is one of the most experienced active investors.
Nowa has also held previous roles at investment banks such as Verdant Capital, Coronation and Renaissance Capital. He holds a BSc in Economics from Loughborough University as well as an MSc in Finance from Cranfield School of Management, and is currently pursuing an EMBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Notable deals he has worked on include:
- £25m acquisition of a Pension Company
- £250 Bond Listing for a Financial Services Company
- £30m Commercial Paper for Real Estate Company

Nowa offers private equity consulting, financial advisory services, and professional training to professionals in private equity, investment banking, corporates, individuals, and students.
Nowa currently serves as the Vice President of a global US boutique Investment Bank, prior to which he was an Investment Professional at AfricInvest, one of Africa’s largest private equity funds with over $2bn assets under management. Nowa has also held previous roles at emerging market focused banks such as Verdant Capital, Coronation and Renaissance Capital.
Notable deals he has worked on include:
- – $10m equity capital raise for a European plastics recycling and manufacturing company
- – $40m growth equity investment into a grocery retailer
- – $30m acquisition of a Pension Company
- – $300m Bond Listing for a Financial Services Company
Nowa is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from University of Chicago Booth. He also holds an MSc in Finance and Management from Cranfield and a BSc in Economics from Loughborough University.
